Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account Registration. When you (or individuals to whom you grant access to our Services) register for an Account, we may ask you for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number. If you choose to refer a third person to our Services, we may also collect the third person’s email address so that we may send them a referral or promotional code to sign up for our Services.

  • Payment Information. When you add your financial account information to your Account, we may collect that information or direct it to our third-party payment processor. Also where we do not store your financial account information on our systems, we generally have access to and may retain, subscriber information through our third-party payment processor.

  • User Content. In certain parts of our Services, you may publicly post content on our Services. By registering and interacting with those Services, you agree that your profile information and the content you post may be viewed and used by other users and third parties we do not control.

  • Communications. If you contact us directly (such as make an inquiry about our Services, apply for a job or attend our events), we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide. We may also receive a confirmation when you read a message from us.

Mattereum is committed to protecting your information. However, please bear in mind that the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Data Retention

We retain personal data we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal data, we will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal data has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal data and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

Your Data Protection Rights

  • In addition, you can object to processing of your personal data, ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data, or request portability of your personal data. Again, you can exercise these rights by emailing privacy@internetofagreements.com

  • You have the right to opt-out of marketing communications we send you at any time. You can exercise this by clicking on the “unsubscribe” or “opt-out” link in the marketing emails we send you. To opt-out of other forms of marketing, please contact us by emailing privacy@internetofagreements.com.

  • Similarly, if we collect and process your personal data with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect the processing if your personal data conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Your Choices

Children’s Privacy

Mattereum does not target and is not intended to attract children under the age of 13 (thirteen). Although visitors of all ages may navigate through our website, we do not knowingly collect or request personal data from those under the age of 13 without parental consent. If, following a notification from a parent or guardian, or discovery by other means, a child under 13 has been improperly registered on our website by using false information, we will delete the child’s personal data from our records.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be modified from time to time, so please review it frequently. Changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on our websites. If we materially change the ways in which we use or share personal data previously collected from you through our Services, we will notify you through our Services, by email, or other communication.

International Data Transfers

Mattereum is a global business. We may transfer personal data to recipient territories or institutions outside of the territory in which the data was originally collected. These outside recipients may not be subject to the same data protection laws as the territory from which you initially provided the information. Personal data collected by Mattereum may be stored and processed in your region or in any other country where Mattereum or its affiliates, subsidiaries or service providers are located or maintain facilities.
